Are you grieving the death of a loved one or struggling with the long-term effects of loss? We will be running a six-session course at Immanuel and St Andrew Church to support those who have been bereaved. Topics include: Attachment, separation and loss, difficult feelings, rites of passage, the impact and pain of bereavement, coping with others, coping with change and moving forward. There is also an optional seventh session which looks at questions of faith.

The course runs on Sunday afternoons from 1pm til 3pm starting on Sunday 1st September and finishing on Sunday 6th October with the questions of faith session on the 13th October. There will also be a memorial service held at the church on the afternoon of Sunday 20th October where we will read out names and light candles in memory of those we have loved and lost. All are welcome to join for the memorial service regardless of whether you have attended the course or not.
