Each year we take the opportunity to gather together and collectively remember those who we love who have died. We name all those whose funeral service we have taken the previous year and people are invited to bring the names of their own loved ones. During the service people are given the opportunity to come forward and light a candle as the names of those being remembered are read out. It provides a moment of reflection, a moment to remember and honour them and is a visible sign and symbol of our prayer and hope for them. That they may be at peace in the very heart and home of God. The service is at 4pm on Sunday 1st November at our church.
