During the season of Creationtide we are considering our impact on the environment both individually and as a church. One simple changes we can make as a church which will greatly reduce our energy use and carbon footprint is to change all our lighting to LED lighting. As our building is in use everyday with community groups as well as out church activities this will have a big impact.
To help us on our journey we have been awarded a grant by The Church of England’s ‘Give to Go Green’ initiative. They will match what we can raise up to a maximum of £4000. That means what you give during the campaign will be doubled.
The campaign starts Sunday 8th September and runs until Sunday 20th October.
